SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

Open Burn Announcement for Thursday, December 1st, 2011

Woodburn north:

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning
  be limited to the period 9:00am to 2:30pm.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed 
  from 9:00am to 2:30pm.

South of Woodburn:

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning
  is not recommended.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning
  is not allowed.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
