SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

TO:         DEQ, OEM

Note: The ODF weather office is returning to Monday through Friday staffing,
      so the burn announcent for Sunday is being issued early.  The Monday
      burn announcement will be issued Monday morning at the usual time.

Open Burn Announcement for Sunday, July 1st, 2012

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning
  be limited to the period 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Jun 16th through Sep 30th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
