Open Burn Announcement for Tuesday, October 9th, 2012

Agricultural burning:

  North of Woodburn:
    Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not
    recommended.

  Woodburn south:
    Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning
    be limited to the period 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:

  North of Woodburn:
    Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is not allowed.

  Woodburn south:
    Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed 
    from 2:00pm to 4:30pm.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
