SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

TO:         DEQ, OEM

Open Burn Announcement for Tuesday, September 25th, 2012

Agricultural burning:
  North of Woodburn: 
    Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning
    be limited to the period 3:00pm to 5:00pm.

  Woodburn South:
    Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning
    be limited to the period 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Jun 16th through Sep 30th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
