SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

TO:         DEQ, OEM

NOTE:  THIS PRODUCT IS BEING ISSUED EARLY DUE TO THE STATEWIDE FURLOUGH DAY ON FRIDAY,
       APRIL 19TH.  THE BURN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE WEEKEND WILL BE ISSUED FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

Open Burn Announcement for Friday, April 19th, 2013

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning be limited to the period
  from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
