SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

Open Burn Announcement for Friday, February 15th, 2013

Agricultural burning:

           ...Along and North of a Dallas-Salem-Silverton Line...
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning be limited
  to the period from noon to 3:30 p.m.

           ...South of a Dallas-Salem-Silverton Line...
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not recommended.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
