SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

Open Burn Announcement for Tuesday, February 19th, 2013

Agricultural burning:

  Albany northward:
    Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning
    be limited to the period 8:00am to 4:00pm.

  South of Albany:
    Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning
    is not recommended.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
