SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

Open Burn Announcement for Wednesday, May 14th, 2014

For south of Canby:

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend no agricultural burning.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is not allowed. 

For north of Canby:

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning be limited to the period
  from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
