SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

TO:         DEQ, OEM

Open Burn Announcement for Thursday, April 30th, 2015

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not recommended north of a line between McMinnville-St. Paul-Molalla. 

South of this line, recommend agricultural burning be limited to the period
  from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Backyard burning:

  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is not allowed north of a line between McMinnville-St. Paul-Molalla.

South of this line, backyard burning is allowed from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
