SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

TO:         DEQ, OEM

Open Burn Announcement for Saturday, June 13th, 2015

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning be limited to the period
  from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

**Backyard burning is not allowed within Benton, Linn, or Marion counties until further notice.**

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
