SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

TO:         DEQ, OEM

Open Burn Announcement for Tuesday, January 31st, 2017

*** The National Weather Service has issued an Air Stagnation Advisory, for the central and
    south Willamette Valley, until noon today. ***

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning be limited to the period
  from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 28th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
