SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

Open Burn Announcement for Monday, November 6th, 2017

***Along and north of Yamhill-Newberg-Canby line***

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning be limited to the period
  from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is allowed from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

***South of Yamhill-Newberg-Canby line to Lane County boundary****

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not recommended.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Based on air quality considerations backyard burning is not allowed.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
