SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

Open Burn Announcement for Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018

***Along and north of the Tualatin and Clackamas Rivers***

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning be limited to the period
  from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.

***South of the Tualatin and Clackamas Rivers***

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations agricultural burning is not recommended.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.
