SUBJECT:    WILLAMETTE VALLEY OPEN BURN ANNOUNCEMENT

TO:         DEQ, OEM

Open Burn Announcement for Saturday, January 18th, 2014

Agricultural burning:
  Based on air quality considerations recommend agricultural burning be limited to the period
  from 10:00am to 3:00pm north of a Canby-Yamhill line.

South of a Canby-Yamhill line, agriculture burning is not recommended.

Backyard burning inside special control areas:
  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.

Individuals must contact their local fire department for specific information.

  Backyard burning is not allowed from Dec 16th through Feb 29th.
